Temazcal and Traditional Medicine

The Temazcal is a purifying ritual originally performed by the Zapotecs, Aztecs, Mixtecs, and other indigenous groups to purify and restore the body and spirit. We offer combinations of these various rituals ranging from educational experiences, learning about the medicinal qualities of the local plants, and/or actually participating in the cleansing rituals.
